Noam Chomsky is a prolific perveyor of truth and Professor of linguistics at MIT since the mid-twentieth century.  He has authored dozens of books on US and international policy, politics, events and business.  "Media Control" is a short (100 page) book that gets right to the point.  It is a good place to start reading Chomsky and getting to know who he is, his point of view and why he is so important to keeping our Democratic Republic alive.

 

A larger book on Chomsky's that deals with the same subject, how Media shapes our world, is "Necessary Illusions".  If you want proof, here is where you will find it.
